Layers: ne_110m_coastline, ne_50m_coastline, ne_10m_coastline,
ne_10m_admin_1_states_provinces_lines, ne_10m_admin_0_boundary_lines_land,
ne_10m_lakes, and ne_10m_rivers_lake_centerlines.
Coordinates simplified into multiple offline detail levels. Long retained line
segments are subdivided along the existing segment for spherical rendering;
longitude-wrap discontinuities are never joined.

Real road and inland-water lines clipped to windows around 22 known launch
regions. Each window extends approximately 220 km from its center in each
cardinal direction. Includes no fabricated roads or buildings.

SaxaVord and Kodiak extracts added on 29 September 2026.
Eastern Baikonur (Site 31/6) pad detail was added on 29 September 2026
using the public OpenStreetMap API v0.6 map endpoint, covering
63.539003,45.971034 to 63.589003,46.021034 (west,south to east,north).
This extracted and simplified database is distributed under the Open Data Commons
Open Database License (ODbL) v1.0:

The complete adapted database is included as LocalGeometry.json. The extraction
and simplification script is Scripts/generate_globe_geometry.py in this project.
